Dream: Tower, Cheese, Paradise

Sunday, 9 February 1997

Dream:

I'm wandering through Tower Records, looking for an album by a rap group called Cheese, who have recorded a cover of Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light." At some point, I wind up in the room where they sell black clothing, frequented by the people in New York who wear nothing but black.

Commentary:

I don't like rap music, though I'd certainly be willing to listen at least once to a rap cover of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light." As far as I know, there is no musical group of any kind called Cheese, but one can never be certain about such things. Tower does not, as far as I know, sell clothing, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were to branch out in that direction. If they did, I'm sure they'd sell a lot of black.

Note:

cd picture "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is probably the best-known track on the album Bat Out of Hell, which you can buy through Amazon.com:
